MIWE running team successful at the Würzburg Company Race
In spite of high midsummer temperatures, our running team ran peak times at the Würzburg Company Race.
On 26 June 2019, the Würzburg Company Race WUE2RUN took place for the 14th time. Due to the sweltering temperatures, the Company Race was quickly turned into a "summer night's run", taking away the competitive nature and placings. About 3,000 runners nevertheless took part. The start and finish of the 7.4 km long run was the Dallenbergbad outdoor pool, where the participants could cap off the evening with a colourful supporting programme after the race. Our colleague Markus Veth ran the second fastest time of the evening with 26 minutes and 28 seconds – congratulations to him!
We hope to be able to continue this tradition next year, and we're counting on numerous of our MIWE employees who'll be back at the starting position.
