Duck race for a good cause
At the 18th white-water duck race in Würzburg, we sent three ingenious duck creations into the race, all of which crossed the finish line safely (some of them in spectacularly sloping fashion). Even if our candidates didn't make it onto the winner's podium, it was still worth the effort. After all, the proceeds go to a good cause.
MIWE's team consisted of: a master baker duck, a training duck, and a duck that we had put inside a miniature replica of our new MIWE aero convection oven. They competed in the "Big Duck Business Race", a special race to which companies, clubs and school classes from Würzburg and the surrounding area were invited to send individually designed ducks in order to support a good cause. The proceeds will go to the Wildwasser Würzburg e.V. association, which has been working to fight violence towards girls and women for thirty years and offers advice and information for victims.
