The first anniversary of the foundation of our subsidiary in Dubai
The one-year anniversary of MIWE Middle East, our ninth and youngest subsidiary, is a special cause for celebration today! MIWE Middle East FZE, which is based in the Dubai Silicon Oasis free trade zone, started its operations on 31 March 2019 and has since been serving not only the United Arab Emirates (UAE) but also the other countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), i.e. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain, as well as sub-Saharan Africa and Pakistan
The aim of the new MIWE Middle East FZE branch was and is to deepen existing business relationships, strengthen and promote the MIWE brand in the region as well as support established local distribution and service partners in a targeted way. A dedicated showroom also allows the subsidiary to offer training for products and application technology and provides a forum not only for in-depth consultations, but also knowledge transfer, which is crucial for producers of baked goods.
General Manager Wilhelm Tittes heads local coordination and organisation at the subsidiary. He has 19 years of experience in the region and has acquired many of MIWE's existing customers or served them for a long time. He is supported by experienced service technicians and experts in the region, by the Regional Sales Manager Middle East at MIWE Michael Wenz GmbH, Sylvain Degens, as well as by the sales support team.
